Abstract: The Pinhole Surgical Technique (PST) was first described in IJPRD in 2012, with a follow-up study providing long-term assessment over 14.5 years. The findings demonstrate PST's sustained predictability and effectiveness in achieving root coverage, with results showing an 81.2% complete root coverage in the original study and 77.9% in the long-term follow-up.

Abstract: This split-mouth randomized clinical trial compared two treatments for gingival recession: PST with collagen membrane (PST + CM) and the coronally advanced flap technique with connective tissue graft (CAF + CTG). Both methods demonstrated similar efficacy in reducing recession defects and achieving attachment level gains after 1 year, with no significant differences in patient-centered outcomes.
